Hummingbird Nest Documentary

This video is a documentary of hummingbirds from the time the eggs are layed until the young birds leave the nest.  Since many people never get to view a hummingbird up close, I thought you might enjoy watching the whole process take place on the video.  I know I really enjoyed it and was amazed by the whole process.  Enjoy!

Thank you for the beautiful video. It made us very sad, tho, because we discovered this morning that something has destroyed our hummer nest. Last weekend we noticed the nest right in front of our house in a maple tree. We were so excited and watched her constantly from the secrecy of our living room. This morning she was gone and the next mostly destroyed. We’re crushed. So, thank you again for the video. Now we know what we have missed. I’m so hoping we see her again at the feeder.
