This video contains some general information about hummingbirds and it also addresses some common hummingbird myths.

This video shows the release of  several rescued hummingbirds.  This is something that not too many people ever have the opportunity to do.  Most of the hummingbirds were quite eager to be released, but one wasn’t and it remained behind, at least temporarily. 

If you have ever wanted to know about the suject of hummingbird banding then this video is intended for you.  There are two videos on the subject of hummingbird banding done by the creator of this video,  In this video you will discover how the birds are caught so they can be banded, what type of anformation the banders want to gather and more.

There are many things that you can do to help you more effectively attract hummingbirds.  These include the following:  use a wide variety of colorful feeders, using a mixture of 1 part sugar to 4 parts water when making the nectar solution (use only pure granulated white table sugar and no other substitute) and  place rotten fruit around the feeders as a way to attract fruit flies on which the hummingbirds will feed.  The video all so explains the importance of cleaning the feeder regularly and how to do so properly.
