“The Hummingbird” by Emily Dickinson

I hope you will enjoy the poem that follows.  I had never before read it, but I really enjoyed it.  I like how it captures the state of almost constant motion of the hummingbird.  To me, the hummingbird is one of natures brightest little jewels and I so enjoy their beauty.  Enjoy the poem everyone!  May it serve to remind you of the great beauty that nature has to offer.

 A Route of Evanescence
With a revolving Wheel—
A Resonance of Emerald—
A Rush of Cochineal—
And every Blossom on the Bush
Adjusts its tumbled Head—
The mail from Tunis, probably,
An easy Morning’s Ride—
